A Danger to Society

A single father raising his daughter alone is involved in an accident one evening and he ends up in a coma for nine years. Meanwhile, his very young daughter is left behind to fend for herself. But, luck is on her side when she decides to go exploring and looking for her daddy only to find one crazy lady who takes a special interest in her.

Krista is raised by Maggie and her husband Gilmer who have the best of intentions, but are not normal in any way, shape or form. Her “father” is always brewing up new and interesting mischief for him and Krista to get into while Maggie is only trying to make sure that Krista grows up safe and happy.

Meanwhile, Krista’s real father Chris awakens out of his coma to a world that is very new to him. He can’t remember anything as he struggles to remember his own name. A social worker assigned to his case helps him through his hospital release and gets him on his feet where he finds a love for painting and furniture design. But, deep down inside he knows something is missing.
